Cedric's Skull

My band MIJA will be releasing a limited ed. 45 in the summer featuring the wonderful vocalist Mainey Wilson! we will be recording it in April. Cedric Bixler-Zavala as of late has collaborated with me on the new Free Moral Agents/Mainey Wilson split 7" available Feb.9th through Nitco records and from Free Moral during there Euro tour, and Hellomerch.com will also be carrying it.

Cedric has also contributed this wonderful picture he took of a glowing skull, and as always MIJA is using our logo that Sonny Kay designed for us. Making one beautifully appealing 7", i just hope the music does the art justice.

Mi Infierno II by Jorge Anthony Tapia

This is the sequel to my debut solo album "mi infierno I", happily i quickly sold out, and have moved forward rather quick. So, thats the name of the game for me in 2011. I will be releasing 13 solo/collaboration albums, one a month. MI2 will be ready in a few weeks, theres a limited edition CD and a downloads will be free at nitetrotter.com. Hillel Zavala collaborated with me on the art of these first 2 albums. MI2 i did just kind of take the ball and ran with it, but i gave it almost a cheap feel, due to its consistency in quirky pop/r&b themed music throughout the 16 track album. Guest musicians include my lovely daughter CHICA X, my soulmate in EYES William Townsend Harris, and a son that ran away after he got married making me beats, Uriel Cerqueda.

With this post im also adding a preview to my 4th album which is a collaboration between I and SinjoThrawMash, a wonderful experimental,experience on both our parts as we brought in the new year recording right up to literally minutes before midnight on December 31st, the english title is "The two headed circuit"

This is one of the first nitco posters i did, pre-photoshop days. stuff was alot more organic then. i miss those days, but, i have alot less mess around my house, and alot more free time...including the money i used to give to kinkos, can now go towards, other things...

this poster hangs up in my basement still...i love it.
