Chaos Vs. Cosmos is my friend Steve, he's a KOOL KOOL cat! i initially met him when EYES was heading to the U.K. for a month long tour with our bro's Skitanja. I think he had a hand in booking a show or something and we ended up asking him to design our tour shirts(which is the picture i put up) He's a wonderful artist and graphics designer... as well as a caring human being involved in the independent music community. Steven plays music under the monicher SLUSHY GUTS of which, i dig quite a bit! i've recently asked him to do a Cass. in 2011 on my label NITCo. and he accepted my invitation! I was as excited about the music as i was the awesome art that coincides with a slushy guts release(of course by chaos vs. cosmos) when he agreed to do the release, he asked if i would do the art!! as honored as i was, i was like FUCK MAN! i like your art! sooooo, we agreed to do a collaboration for this cassette! now this got me all sorts of hot and bothered(in a good way!) making this a extra special release for me and i hope for the eyes that fall upon this little labels Cassette! so keep them eyes and ears on the lookout for this dope ass tape in 2011!

NITCO{NITETROTTER} recap_______

At Nitetrotter.com we've been giving away Out of Print releases, alot of these their were less than a 100 made, and each one as with most of the nail in the coffin records catalog, i designed the art and layed out the album. We have alot of new things coming out on NITCo. and i'm trying my best to get the site revamped and release new material with album art that is as diverse as the music itself. Thanks to everyone that's supported NITCO the past 10 years!!!

So, i learned to ride a motorcycle, i just didnt learn to stop...

My dads Escalade stopped my face, and then i dropped the bike, where my leg landed on the chain...above are the results! 19 stitches total. 15 behind the kneee 4 in my face. They had to clip a bunch of fat and tissue that was hanging out of my leg befor they could suture me...haha. what a goof!truth be told i cant wait to get back on that HOG!!

Alaynna Roby

Alaynna is a 18 year old girl that im apprenticing down at my tattoo shop....she is a blossoming girl, with ALOT of talented. as of late she had to paint a picture of everyone in the shop making funny faces. below is what she came up with....FYI she got an A on the project!!! cant wait to get a machine in her hand!!(gonna be a minute though)

NITETROTTER LOGO

Now, im sure you've all seen this logo by now...but you mayyyyy wonder where it came from. About 5 years ago i drew it, and left it sit in one of my many,many piles of unused pieces of art. When Jack Coder,Billy Harris and I decided to go full steamm ahead with this stint(NITETROTTER). We needed a fresh logo compensating the idea of what we were, and what we were against. Thus the logo was brought in...they all loved it. Then out came the wolves!

in Celebration of Sobou Shuu's new cass. on NITCO. I tattooed the symbol of Baphomet on his hand. i LOVE this piece. i think he has about7 of these on him now! hahah....what a sadistic lil shit!

SECRETS!

Amber was in EYES with me and Bill for a few years...she played saxaphone and sang. She played on quite a few releases as well as touring in the U.K.,and all over the U.S., after a while we decided to part ways. But she's hopped back on that music making horse and has started to ride again...well, write again makes more sense!!

SECRETS is me and her making music similar to EYES, but way more chill. we design the beats and lay it all out together, and write all the vocals together. it is a equal oppurtunity band. and we are very excited to be joining the SEED records family with our debut E.P. very soon. Mi Infierno by Jorge Anthony Tapia (my first solo album)

well, geez...i have a few things to say about this. ive been recording songs for half my life, most of which will never be heard by anyone but Amber or a few friends...who gives a shit,really. But after a few close friends maybe i should think about releasing a solo album, i decided to go with it. It still has taken me a while to buckle down and due it, due to alot the songs lacking in consistency or any sort of real energy(which is why i never used them in any of my bands) so, ive tossed most of em aside, but, have 2 specifically themed albums as my first releases. They are based around what happens to a person after a considerable amount of time and pressure. So alot of the trax are the release of pent up issues, being exasperated into song form. I've left most of em the way ive recorded em without fixing the fudged vocals, off keys, bad notes etc. embarrasing on the average, i dont think i could sit in a room with someone as theyre listening to this.But, i do feel like ive gotten a few things off my chest. Mi Infierno I is a more organic, live band feel. Some of the tracks are written by Ray Malone(the ingenious drummer behind Meth and Goats mathematics) with Mondo Drag's bassist Dennis Hockaday. Where i simply do vocals...but the rest are Acoustic and experimental songs with traces of white noise weaving through soft hooks. Mi Infierno II will be beat related with alot of songs i did digitally with beats written for me, or beats i did on reason etc...these songs resemble Prince or Pharell Williams. My 3rd album, which is to be titled will consist of me and Jason Whitmarsh(of Sinjo Thraw Mash and Nitco tapes) this has yet to be recorded, we start soon.

The art is pictures of taken and graphically designed, i then passed them over to HILLEL ZAVALA...where she made them just beautiful! i love her art and you should too! she worked with EYES and now me on this, i hope to continue to do art with her!!

EYES and SCOTCH TAPES!!(and COLD MOLD,and HEALTH, and DOC.EUGENE CHADBOURNE)

AL is a great guy! he runs SCOTCH TAPES! out of Canada...worx with LOTS of experimental bands and has released a ridiculous amount of things. His Upcoming releases include a BUNCH for my band EYES. Including a cassette of a TON of our digital tracks right before we changed to a live drummer. A remix lathe we did for HEALTH's song 'We are Water'...and a track of a song we did with Doctor Eugene Chadbourne called "decompose" Doc Eugene was the brains behind SHOCKABILLY and the creator of the Electric rake as well as being a leader in experimental country music for YEARSSSSS now, he also released Jon Zorn's first album. When He played here in E.Moline in my record store about 2 years ago...and the crowd cleared the room, i put him on the spot and asked him to contribute to this EYES track with his electric rake...he said sure! i busted out my digital 8track, and as ive done many times before, i refused to let him hear the track he was getting to record on, i wanted to capture the moment with his initial scratches at the surface. he listened to our unordinary,somber song and rattled around the electric rake, which i ran through a distortion and delay pedal..he exclaimed he'd never done that before?! weird. What you hear on the upcoming lathe is what we captured. With EYES im very proud of specific ground breaking experiments, this being one of them...thank you AL for releasing this!  AND AT THE TOP OF THE LIST, is a split lathe with our booking agents band COLD MOLD, Bobby Missile(Ballistic Missile Booking) is the guitarist of ATTRACTIVE and POPULAR a amazing band of which NITCO and GSL released their 12" and cd a few years back. Cold Mold takes on a very similar feel of dancey post punk, however they are a 2 piece with Anna Wingfield on Drums and Vocals too...EYES and COLD MOLD go on tour the day after XMAS and will be on the road to bring in the new year together. 5nakefork records and 5traight printing will be co releasing this with Scotch!!!dope! Above is all the art ive done up for all  the different releases, cant wait to have them all sitting on my lap!!

Here Comes Chernobyl!

Here comes Chernobyl! is the brain-child of the creative, individual Adam Cartan,basically this fool is a trip! i love the guy...He's quite a respectful person with a big brain....However back in the day we used to do some pretty crazy shit, ihave footage of this kat with my Texas Chainsaw Massacre mask, with his pants around his ankles tryin to get this hooker to...well, needless to say, there was quite the audience of people in this homely apartment, and nothing happened. but makes for a great conversation piece that Adam is not-so-proud of...The 2 other members in this band, i have played in bands with both of them Mike Segura(prior bassist in MIJA and Humanos) and Brian LaJeone(prior drummer in MIJA). ALL of them great musicians. Me and Mr.Mike DeLaCruz worke on this layout together,Mike is my tattoo apprentice. He did all the art, and i did the fonts and layout, i'd say we make a pretty good team!!

A while ago i went to chicago to chill with Zechs Marquise while they were on tour with RX bandits. We took this pic, but amber had me enhance the picture and take her out since she looked like a 'rabbid dog' so i pushed Matthew over in the pic, pretty funny. love these guys though.

Corpus Collosum distro logo

My friend Marlo Eggplant runs a label/distro called Corpus Collosum Distro, it's a great label! with lost of experimental music. She also puts out a great compilation called"Ladys of  Noise" which is a great comp. representing Woman that make noise/exp. music at that point in time. Chica X(my daughter), and SECRETS(me and Amber's band) will be on the next one! keep an eye out for it(im sure ill post something here). Well, she asked me to design her a label logo, which is one of my favorite things to do. and after a few preliminaries and a hand full of emails, this is the final logo here!! dig it!

MIJA FLYER.

My Band MIJA will be playing at this local bar for a few hours. this is the flyer for the show...We have just finished record one half of our full length record. It is 2 albums, that will be released as one Entity based around the idea of Gemini's(which is my zodiac symbol) Sonny Kay has created our logo and done the album art thus far, and Ikey Owens(the keyboardist of the Mars Volta and brainchild behind FreeMoralAgents) will be recording our new tracks next month. SOBOU SHUU cass. on NITCO!

Chris AKA Sobou shuu is a accomplished, noise diva...He has performed many shows and numerous tours. His sets are usually shorter than 10 minutes, louder than most noise acts ive seen, and it gets to the point alot faster too. Always leaves me wanting more. I've had the privilege of performing with him a few times, and it's always been enjoyable. His new cass. will be out on my label NITCo. very soon. this is the art that i did for it. very excited and you should be too!

I met Zeque on the 2nd tour Zechs Marquise did out to East Moline, with Free Moral Agents...His art you'll probably recognize from Zechs Marquise debut album "our delicate stranded nightmare". i got to watch him sketch for quite a few hours in my living room on a piece that looked very much so like my Boston Terrier G.G.

Xiu Xiu's cover of CEREMONY still turnin heads...

a few year's ago i released the vinyl version of Xiu Xiu-Chapel of the Chimes... it is one of my all time favorite releases i've done on Nail in the Coffin records(my record label i've ran for goin on 11 years w/ over 150 releases) the final track of the album is a cover of Joy Division/New Order's song CEREMONY and it is absolutely wonderful. Reid Macdonald from the big takeover also put this in his top ten as of late! http://www.bigtakeover.com/top-ten This record is still available thru me, or my distributor STICKFIGURE
